What could go wrong …. 28 signed up, four speed groups, a few Cheetahs slumming it, nice route from Tim O and the sun was out.

Some riders (no names) started in group one and ended up in group four. Jim B lost his bottle (drink) and was left behind. James B and others took several detours. By the end, nobody was quite sure who was in what group and some of the slowest ended up ahead of the fastest and the last 5km “ devil take the hindmost” rule invoked. All in all, a Leopard ride of which we all should be proud. How many of the 28 completed the ride …. absolutely no idea.

And, to cap a great morning with good chat and camaraderie, RRD returned to his loving colleagues after a multi year absence where his road bike felt distinctly unloved. Also Karl Terry graced us with his speedy presence and preserved his reputation of never doing the whole ride! Welcome back Karl and Richard 🥰
